The AGT has an overall length of 303 meters and 28 meters wide. It has two berths, one on the north side (No. 1 berth) with a depth alongside of 14 meters below CD, and one on the south side (No. 2 berth) with an alongside depth of 12 meters
Aden Gulf Maritime Company has been established by the Hayel Saeed Anam Group of companies … The company is the first private sector company to construct marine berths and it’s the first dry and general cargo sterminal in the country able to handle Panamax size bulk carriers (80,000 tons) due to its special depth which increases the overall cargo handling capacity of the port … Recently it has been received a Panamax vessel (MV Iron Manolis) with DWT of (82269 tons) and other vessel (MV Iolcos Unity) with depth of 13.56 meters.

Discharging Instruments
Believing on the importance of the improving and developing the level of loading and unloading operations at Yemeni ports and realizing the need to minimize environmental contamination, the jetty has therefore been provided with a ship unloader and conveyer system which discharges wheat from the vessels directly to the silos… the average capacity of the evacuater is 650 t/h, and it can reach 800 t/h under certain conditions.
