The ship "Cerus" of the Singapore shipping line (Sea Lead), has arrived today to the Port of Aden. The ship is connecting Aden container terminal , with the container terminals of Jeddah Islamic Port and then the Chinese port of Qingdao.
The Sea Lead line provides services for transporting containers from the local Yemeni market to the port of Aden, which belong to several shipping lines, foremost of which is the French shipping line CMA CGM..
The visit of the ship "Cerus" coincides with the high handling rates witnessed by the container terminal at the port of Aden, as well as the noticeable improvement in the service rates of vessels visiting the terminal.
Recent months have witnessed an increase in the number of tanker ships dealing with Aden Port Container Terminal, which in turn has raised the rates of containers handled at the terminal compared to the same period last year.
The management of the container terminal in the port of Aden welcomed the addition of the ship "Cerus" to the fleet of ships dealing with the container terminal.
