YGAPC renew their readiness to provide all facilities for World Food Program

The Executive Chairman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation, Mr. Mohamed Alawi Amzerbah, confirmed the readiness of the port leadership to provide all facilities and port's capabilities to assist the World Food Program in its mission to serve the population in Aden and all Yemeni governorates. A meeting was held on Sunday morning 10/3/2019 at the Head Office of the Corporatin with Mr. Dan, Director of Transport and Supply Office of the World Food Program in Aden. The meeting discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the Office of the Program and the Port of Aden, the activity of the program and difficulties facing it, the need of the program for several warehouses and yards in Ma'ala Wharves and Aden container terminal due to the arrival of many shipments of materials and containers, especially after the transformation of the activity from the port of Hodeidah to the port of Aden because of the current conditions passing through the port of Hodeidah. The Executive Chairman stressed the keenness of the port of Aden to give all facilities for relief vessels and international humanitarian aid. The meeting was attended by the Director General of Maritime Operations in the port of Aden Captain / Shakib Mohammed Abdul Wahid and his deputy Captain Ahmad Al-Bishi, Deputy Director of Transport and Supply Mr. Khaled Arabi and the shipping agent of International Shipping Company Mr. Alaa Abdul Ghani
