On Friday 08/04/2016, the ship Optimist coming from Singapore, called the Port of Aden for the purpose of bunkering. This visit came as a result of the great efforts exerted by the Port to provide all the necessary services to its customers especially after the security improvements that are witnessed by the city of Aden.
. The ship carried the Russian flag and is considered the first ship to call the Port for this service, after a suspension due to the civil war that took place in the country lately and has affected the activities of the Port dramatically.
Aden Bunkering Department is the competent authority that provides this service in the Port of Aden, which resumed its activity recently.
