The College of Engineering at the University of Aden represented by Dr. / Al-Khader Nasser Laswar, President of the University and Yemen Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation represented by its Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board Dr. Mohamed Alawi Amzerba signed on Sunday 15/10, the general framework of the Memorandum of Undersating Agreement. The President of the University of Aden praised the bilateral relations between the university and a number of active institutions, which will be reflected with positive results based on the common interest in the bilateral technical and scientific relations in the scope of their joint activities that will achieve positive results for the students and the nation as well. The Chairman of YGAPC pointed that this agreement comes from the objectiveof the Corporation in line with its programs and activities and activating the partnership with the University of Aden in an effort to improve education and provide opportunities for marine engineering cadres to complete their field studies. Dr. Saleh Mohammed Mubarak, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, said that this memorandum was in response to the strategic objectives of the College to expand its relations with the active institutions in the field of marine engineering. The most prominent articles of the Convention include the establishment of the Port Corporation to receive the students of marine engineering from the University of Aden for training and practical application in its port workshops in the fields of operation and maintenance of internal combustion engines in marine as well as workshops for the operation and maintenance of marine equipment during the study period and Summer vacations.
