The Executive Chairman of YGAPC Discusses the Report of the Technical Team’s Visit to the Netherlands & the Tugboat Maintenance Program "Wadi Hateeb"

Dr. Mohammad Alawi Amzerbah - The Executive Chairman of YGAPC chaired the meeting with the committees of the "New Marine Tugboat" and "Maintenance of the Marine Tugboat Wadi Hateeb", in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of YGAPC, Engineer / Abdulrab Jaber Al-Khulaqi, this morning, Tuesday, December 08, 2020, where the attendees listened to the details of the visit by the technical committee to discuss with Damen Shipyard the new marine tugboat to be purchased by the corporation.

The progresses of the committee related to negotiating the maintenance of "Wadi Hateeb" marine tugboat in Djibouti were also discussed. Regarding these two strategic issues, appropriate decisions have been taken to enhance the technical capabilities in the field of tugging and port extension.

The meeting was attended by the General Directors of Financial Affairs, Auditing & Inspection, Human Resources and the Technical Affairs with his deputy, the Harbour Master and his assistant, and a number of specialized engineers.
