The Engineers of the Technical Department are currently rehabilitating The Head Office Jetty by removing eroded stones and replacing them with new ones, as well as rebuilding the old bridge and repairing the walls, replacing the wharf apron in addition to rehabilitating it with all facilities and accessories such as lighting and iron barriers (handrails). This berth serves the port visitors wishing to take cruises.
This project comes within a number of rehabilitation and maintenance projects that are carried out by the Technical Department for the facilities of Yemeni Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation.
