Under the Patronage of the Port of Aden leadership, a new Chairman of the shipping chamber was elected today, which included representatives of shipping agencies, representatives of shipping lines dealing with the Port of Aden.
Dr. Mohammad Alawi Amzerbah welcomed the attendees representatives of shipping agencies, appreciating their desire to hold the elections at Aden Container Terminal, stressing the support and appreciation of Aden Port administration for the effective partnership that includes the port and shipping agencies in serving the international shipping lines.
After discussions, the following names were elected to run the the Shipping Chamber which are as follows:
1- Mr. Talib Salim - The General Manager of Saba International Company - Chairman of Shipping Chamber
2- Mr. Rifaat Yassin - Commercial Director of Thabet Brothers Group of Companies - Deputy Chairman of the Shipping Chamber
3- Mr. Ali Al-Mukhaudari - Director of Middle East Company, Aden - General Coordinator of Shipping Chamber.
The meeting was dominated by a spirit of cooperation and joint action aimed at an effective partnership seeking to serve and strengthen commercial and service activities in the Port of Aden, which would, in turn, benefit the Yemeni citizen and advance the commercial and service process.
