Chief Engineer of the Port of Aden: the Government's decision is to preserve the developmental area of ​​the Port of Aden

The Chief Engineer in the Port of Aden praised the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 29 for the year 2021 , to define the boundries of the Port of Aden, and to stop the tampering that affected the lands around the Port. The Director of the General Administration of Technical Affairs and Projects at YGAPC, Eng. Muhammad bin Muhammad Shaif, said that the decision aims to preserve the back up areas of the port of Aden and its development areas, large parts of which have been deducted under the pretext of investment and building real estate projects. He explained that the port is awaiting the implementation of major development projects, if the agreement signed between our country and China is implemented to expand and deepen the port's navigational channel, increase the capacity of the container berth, and build berths for general cargo and other strategic projects according to what is specified in the Master Plan of the Port of Aden in its later stages according to what is done in international ports. Eng. Shaif valued the great efforts made by the leadership of the Corporation represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Muhammad Alawi Amzeraba, which werer concluded with the issuance of this decision.
