The Executive Chairman of the Corporation gave a presentation at the Investment Conference pointing out the geographical nature of the Port of Aden and the international shipping routes nearby, the conditions of the Port during the period of the fifties and the current situation. He also spoke about the future projects in the Port concerning the deepening of berths that will enable the port to receive large vessels and the generation of giant vessels. He pointed out that the Corporation leadership engaged international experts to prepare a master plan of those projects. Bin Aifan commended the Joint Venture Agreement with Dubai World, which would develop the infrastructure of the port, deepen the berths and provide them with advanced equipment.
