Visit of the Seafarers' Mission Organization to the Port of Aden

After their first visit to Aden Port in 2021 to introduce the Mission’s work (Caring for seafarers around the world) and to get to know the port. The Mission represented by Mr. Raeid Tashtoush – a member of the Development team and the head of Al-Aqaba branch had a second visit to the Port Traffic Control – Marine Operations Department on Sunday 19/02/2023 as a follow up to their first visit, where he was welcomed by Eng. Abdulrab Al-Khulaqi the debuty chairman of YGAPC and Captain Shakib A.Wahid the Director of the Marine department – the Port Officer, and Captain Hani A.Moti the Assistant Harbour Master. Mr. Tashtoush said that this visit is to understand and recognize the necessary arrangments required by the the Port and other authorities in order to re-establish the Mission’s office in Aden, clearly stating that the Mission’s work in Caring for seafarers is comes under the respect and following of the country and the port rules and regulations. From his side Eng. Abdulrab stated that the port will provide all the facilitation and help for the Mission and its employees in order to assist them carrying their work. After the meeting Mr. Tashtoush was invited for a boat trip in the port to show him the port terminals and the ships calling the port.
