Red , white and black are the colours of the flag of the Republic of Yemen. The anchor, lighthouse and steering wheel reflect the core business of the Port of Aden, to provide a safe harbor where ships can moor safely and carry out their operations. The motto, Safe, Sure, Swift, reminds us that ships need a place of safety, need to be able to rely on their port of call in an uncertain world and expect to be provided with rapid cargo, fuelling and chandlery services. Yemen Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation (YGAPC) is one of three Ports Corporations under the Ministry of Transport. YGAPC is responsible for ports on the coast of Yemen in the western part of the Gulf of Aden. |
