Mr. Ahmed Salem Rubiaa Ali , Governorate of Aden Deputy stressed on the role and the importance of the Port of Aden as a leading port in the region was and still gaining importance over the years
years He pointed the role of the terminal staff who have been credited for the continuation of the port activity .. Pointing out that he feels pleased whenever touching a new tribute to the work and activities of the port. This came in the context of his speech at the honorary ceremony for workers and employees at Aden Container Terminal " Aden Port Development Company", which was held, Thursday, June 27, 2013 under the patronage of the Minister of Transport, Dr Waed Abdullah Badheeb and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aden Port Development Company, Executive Chairman of YGAPC, Captain Sami Saeed Farea. For his part, Captain Sami praised in his speech during the proceedings of the ceremony the role played by workers and employees of the container terminal, those who bore on their shoulders all honesty and sincerity of the responsibility of raising and develop the level of overall performance of the Aden Port Development Company, which passed for its establishment a full year since the company received the port from DP World, the previous terminal operator. He also valued the efforts and contribution of women in raising the pace of work in participation their men colleagues in the performance of their duties and obligations, wishing workers and staff of the container terminal to exert more, efforts to achieve the aspirations and desired hopes for the port of Aden since it is an international port and occupies a strategic location, so that it returns to its previous position and more .. especially after the port witnessed a remarkable increase in the activity of container handling, thanks to the efforts of the outstanding Yemeni workers and staff, who is currently in charge of managing the affairs and activities of the terminal.
