The Port of Aden received on Sunday morning 25/05/2014 the giant container ship EVER LEARNED of the shipping line EVER GREEN which is the largest container ship that enters the Port of Aden.
The length of the ship is 335 meters with a handling capacity of 8452 TEUs and is among the largest and newest ships of the Taiwanese shipping line EVERGREEN , which entered service in 2013. The ship discharged 450 TEUs at ACT.
The ship was received by the leadership of YGAPC represented by the Deputy Chairman for administrative affairs Mr. / Moh’d Alawi Omzarbah, captain Shakib Abdul Wahed , GM of the Operations Dept., Mr.Ahmed Muthana Ahmed Al- Ammari GM of Planning ,Marketing and Information Dept, Eng. / Moh’d Abdul-Wasa GM of Aden Co. for Ports development and the shipping line EVERGREEN agent in Aden where they welcomed the Ship’s Captai, exchanged gifts and handed over the Port’s shield.
