A meeting was held on Sunday 14 May 2017 at the Head Quarters of the Corporation under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohamed Alawi Amzrabeh, the Executive Chairman of YGAPC and a number of General Managers at the Corporation
in the presence of shipping offices and stevedoring companies to discuss the application of the legal framework for facilitateling stevedoring operations. The meeting was held to inform shipping and stevedoring companies and workers' representatives of the mechanism reached by the Corporation through approving a collective contract between the shipping and stevedoring companies wishing to carry out stevedoring activity.
