With the inception of the new year, the French line CMA CGM resumed its services to the Port of Aden. The ship "Elreedi Star" arrived to launch the return of the French line vessels to Aden Container Terminal after a long intermission,
the last of which was in March 2015.
The French line CMA CGM is the third largest container carrier in the world and will facilitate the transferring of local market cargo directly from international markets through the Port of Jeddah to the Port of Aden.
At the reception of the ship (Elreedi Star), the staff of operation and commercial departments at ACT, welcomed the arrival of the ship on her first visit and the captain of the ship was given a memorial shield in this occasion.
