The Executive Chairman of the Corporation Captain/ Sami Saeed Farea has Met at the Head Quarters of the Corporation the Stevedoring Companies and representatives of the workers in the presence of Mr . Ahmed Al-Dulaai, Governorate Deputy in order to discuss workers' demands and proposals submitted by the Stevedoring Companies and find the appropriate solutions to end the workers' strike immediately.
After discussions of all the proposals and demands of the workers, the chairman convinced the workers to end the strike which affects the reputation of the Port of Aden and confirmed that stevedoring companies and workers should be committed to the terms of Cargo Handling Regulation issued by the Minister of Transport in 2008. He added that YGAPC is committed to maintain the interests of workers and companies working in this field under the terms of the Regulation.
