The Acting Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, Mr. Shao Ching, and his accompanying delegation visited Aden Container Terminal - Aden Port this afternoon, April 23 2024, to review the port’s activity and its various services in serving goods imported into the Yemeni local market, since the Port of Aden is considered Yemen’s gateway in facilitating the arrival of giant container ships.
His Excellency the Acting Chinese Ambassador was received by Dr. Muhammad Alawi Amzarba, The Executive Chairman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YGAPC, Deputy Chairman, Engineer Abdulrab Al-Khulaqi, Mr. Aref Al-Shaabi, Director General of Container Terminal, and his deputy, Mr. Fadl Al-Hujaili.
The visiting delegation toured the berth of the container terminal and listened to a detailed explanation about container activities, the number of arriving ships and their sizes, and the importance of the role of the Port of Aden as the main center for serving the requirements of the Yemeni market.
