On the evening of September 4, 2025, the Port of Aden received the sailing yacht Erquy, arriving from France under the command of New Zealand adventurer Captain Allan Seymour. The vessel’s journey included passage through the Suez Canal and a stop at Jeddah Port in Saudi Arabia before docking in Aden for resupply, maintenance, and provisioning. The yacht is scheduled to continue its voyage onward to Sri Lanka.
The Erquy measures approximately 16 meters in length and 5 meters in width.
