A meeting was held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Head Quarters of the Corporation to discuss stevedoring issues. The meeting was attended by Mr. / Mohammed Alawi Omzarbah Chairman of the Board of Directors at YGAPC and his Deputy, Eng. / Abdulrab Al-Khulaqi,
Undersecretary of Aden Governorate Mr. / Khaled Aljaimlani where they discussed what has been implemented from meetings held with the concerned parties represented by stevedoring syndicate at the Wharves and the shipping companies at the Port of Aden The meeting came out with a work program for the committee in the coming period to accomplish its tasks in a better way and address the problems of employees social insurance and tariff then submit their report to the Economic Council for approval. The meeting was attended by the Acting General Manager of Wharves Dept., represetative from the transport union, Director of Legal Dept. at the Governorate office and a representative of Social Insurance Corporation.
